AMA DABLAM (6812 M):

Ama Dablam means 'Mother's Necklace'. It is considered to be incredibly beautiful mountain to look at, and is the third most popular Himalayan peak among mountain climbers.It was first climbed on 13th March 1961 by Mike Gill (NZ), Barry Bishop (USA), Mike Ward (UK) and Wally Romanes (NZ) via the Southwest Ridge. Climbers technically set up 3 camps along the ridge and to the right of the hanging glacier. After the avalanche of November 2006, a liaison officer and a climbing permit is required to climb this mountain. April-May and October –September are considered to be the ideal months to climb this peak.

Day 1      Arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to Hotel
Day 2     Documentation preparation day for office and Sightseeing day
Day 3     Fly  toLukla  and trek further to Monjo (2800m, 4hr), or Phakdingma O/N lodge .
Day 4     Trek  toNamche Bazar village
Day 5     Rest day in Namche Bazar.
Day 6     Trek to   Tengboche monastery.
Day 7     Trek to Pangboche)
Day 8     Trek to Amadablam Base Camp
Day 9-20   Climbing Period of AmaDablam
Day 21   Trek Descent to Namche Bazar.
Day 22   Trek Descent to Lukla.
Day 23   Flight to Kathmandu.Hotel.
Day 24  Departure at airport.
